2019 KABB 4th Annual Meeting

4th Annual KABB Meeting


2019 was the second year our annual meeting was held at the Kentucky Historical Society building in Frankfort Kentucky. Unknown to all of we would not have another meeting until 2022 and it would be in a new location.


Dr. Steven Schwarze was our president at the time. That year's keynote speaker was Dr. Mark Fung. In 2022 Dr. Fung was director of blood bank and transfusion medicine at the University of Vermont Medical Center. Their Keynote presentation was on Platelet Refractoriness.
