3rd Annual KABB Meeting

This was the first year the annual meeting was held at the Kentucky Historical Society building in Frankfort Kentucky. This would be Dr. Elpidio Pena's last year as KABB's president.

2018's keynote speaker was Dr. Jeff Winters. At the time he was Vice chair of the division of laboratory medicine and pathology at the Mayo clinic in Rochester, and the editor of the Journal of Clinical Apheresis. Fittingly his presentation explained therapeutic apheresis.
