Volunteers Needed
This is the first year of our new website and we are still trying to figure everything out.
There are plenty of things KABB would like to do and offer we just don't have the time or hands to dedicate to the cause.
We would love to have you join one of our projects. You can even submit an idea to be considered for a future project.
An Ongoing Need
We are in a never-ending need of information and ideas. If you have any interesting cases, have read a great article or know of a new methodology please let us know. Sharing knowledge and spreading understanding of the complex world of transfusion medicine is one of our fundamental ideals.
Speak Up!
Have a great topic idea? Become a speaker at one of our events.
Lately we have been sadly lacking in speaker diversity. With most speakers being KBC employees. We want to have more people from more diverse backgrounds.
If you would be interested in presenting and don't know what to speak on, we can help with that.

On our old website there was a newsletter that went out about once a year. I, Jessica head of the education committee, would like this to be revitalized and remade to fit our new website.
In an ideal world I would like this to be a quarterly newsletter featuring interesting studies, new developments and a spotlight on a different blood group each time.
To achieve that ambitious goal we will need help.
Make Plans
Are you super organized and love planning? Then have we got the project for you.
KABB is always looking for active committee and board members to help with the planning and organizing of our meetings.
From email campaigns, to get more people to attend, to helping design the meeting brochure or picking out what prizes go in our gift baskets.
Become a Speaker
Submit items for the newsletter.
Submit links and ideas that can be turned into stories for our newsletter.
We ask that all links be from reputable sources.
You can also send us an article, summary or story you have written to be included in the newsletter.
